Riverside County Offers FREE Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection for Residents
Moreno Valley, CA – Riverside County residents can safely and responsibly dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW), including electronics, automotive fluids, and pesticides at no cost. Proper HHW disposal helps protect local communities and the natural environment from pollution. Residents are encouraged to bring their HHW to any of these FREE events and review acceptable items and the complete 2026 schedule online at https://rcwaste.org/household-hazardous-waste

Both permanent and temporary collection sites accept a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds per resident, per trip. All sites will accommodate multiple trips if storage capacity and facility staffing allow. Facilities may close during inclement weather or other hazardous conditions.
Acceptable materials include, but are not limited to, the following:

⚡ Electronic Waste (TVs, printers, and cell phones)
🚗 Automotive Products (motor oil, filters, and gasoline),
🌱 Lawn & Garden Products, and more!
