Community Action in Riverside County
Thank you for joining us for the 4th Annual RivCo Recycles Community Summit. See below for a full description of the event, complete webinar, and speaker presentations.
Community action is the heart of any sustainable future. But what exactly is community action? It is individuals, neighborhoods, local businesses, and organizations all coming together with a shared purpose, and putting ideas into action to create change!
The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources invites residents and businesses to learn about updates in waste legislation, free resources in your community, and what we can do to make Riverside County more sustainable.
The 4th Annual RivCo Recycles Community Summit aims to educate the public by showcasing practicable solutions industry leaders and community members alike are taking to implement waste reduction and sustainable changes, informing attendees of the existing history of environmental justice in Riverside County, and what you can do to help to create a sustainable future in Riverside County.
The Summit occured VIRTUALLY via WebEx on November 18, 2023, from 10 AM - 1 PM. Three (3) lucky attendees won a swag bag of sustainable and reusable goodies.
